I am now 20 years old and I don't really have much going for me other than my plans for the next couple years. I just moved back to my hometown from NYC and am working on my portfolio for school for next spring. In the last couple of wasted years after high school I finally figured out what I want to do with my art  Set and prop design for movies. Sounds odd and difficult to get into, but its something I could really enjoy. Art was never my first choice as an "I want to be" while growing up. I always wanted to be a mechanical Engineer or a scientist. Lately, however, I have been seeing potential in my art that I didn't really feel was there before. I haven't really been keeping anything updated on here except for my silly bar napkin sketches  and some crappy sketches done for my drawing class last summer. None the less other people are seeing my improvement and I think I have finally found contentment with "falling back" on my art as a profession. Any who, I enjoy almost any medium and like to experiment with a lot of different stuff. Right now I have been using chalk and ink, mostly because it's what I had laying around Any criticism or advice anyone has to offer would be much appreciated |
